Welcome to Kimbila Neuro Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in Florida in 2024 and is dedicated to easing the financial burden of neurological disorders in the Jacksonville Beaches community.

We are here to support individuals and families facing the challenges of neurological conditions by providing direct financial assistance and specialized care. Whether you are seeking aid or want to support those in need, we invite you to explore how Kimbila Neuro Fund can make a difference in someone’s life today.

Our Mission

Kimbila Neuro Fund is committed to mitigating the impact of neurological disorders by offering financial assistance for medical and non-medical expenses as well as access to comprehensive neurological services from a compassionate team of professionals.

Neurological disorders can strike unexpectedly, stealing away physical and cognitive abilities and imposing heavy financial burdens. We are here to help ease that burden through our financial assistance program and access to expert care.

Our Services

We support individuals affected by a wide range of neurological conditions, including but not limited to:

Dementia

Guillain-Barré Syndrome

Parkinson's Disease

Traumatic Brain Injury

Multiple Sclerosis

Epilepsy

Ischemic Stroke

Hemorrhagic Stroke

As we move into 2025, our first full year in operation, our offering is limited to physician services and coverage of prescription medicines, copayments, and transportation costs for medical appointments to the extent that our funds will permit.  Our board-certified neurologist is available to provide ongoing disease management or collaboration with your existing neurology team.

As funding grows, we will expand coverage to include therapies (PT/OT/SLT), diagnostic imaging, neurophysiologic testing (EMG/NCS, EEG), and more. With the accumulation of adequate resources, we plan to develop a physical location where doctors and therapists can serve patients; and diagnostic studies can be performed.

Community Education

We also believe in the power of education. Our public education initiatives cover vital topics such as stroke prevention, dementia awareness, and concussion management in sports. We tailor our sessions to meet the needs of your group or organization.
